Under AusAid scheme, there are three prestigious scholarships offered presently. This offer is a gold opportunity to study advance in Australia, where there are many internationally recognised universities with various study programs.

ALA (Australian Leadership Award), deadline 30 June 2009, ADS (Australian Development Scholarship) deadline 4 September 2009 and Endeavour, deadline 31 July 2009.

ADS might be the least competitive compared with the other two. It offers 300 awards for Indonesian who are going to take posgraduate studies either masters degree or doctorate degree. The chance for the doctorate award is only 10% or 30 awardee, though. two third of 300 awards will be granted for public sector candidates (including PNS). So, why do not trying if you are lecturer at state university or teacher at public school and not yet having a masters title?

I was granted ADS for taking my masters degree and just graduated last year. It was a rewarding journey. I wish I could apply for my PhD.
